How do I collect art through your website?

Once you’re ready to buy, just add to cart! You can pay via credit card, shopPay, and PayPal through our online shop. We also accept Venmo payments (just send us an email first).

 

What are the shipping fees and when will I receive my purchase?

We ship flat rate at $10. All artwork is shipped directly from the artist's studio. They usually ship in 3-5 days, but please allow up to 2 weeks for your work to arrive. If there is going to be a significant delay, we'll let you know ASAP.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! If you are an international collector, you will need to email us prior to purchasing. We'll provide you with a quote for shipping, and then we can invoice you rather than checking out on the website. 

 

Can I pay in installments?

Yes! We accept ShopPay, which allows you to pay in installments.  

 

Is framing included?

Unless explicitly noted, artworks are unframed.

We sometimes provide a photo with the work framed to give you a sense of size or how it could look in your home. But these are just examples.

Framed works will be listed under the Framed filter, and will be stated in the title and description.

 

Do you accept returns?

We apologize, but we do not accept returns on artwork. Everything comes directly from an artist, and creating and shipping art is no small feat. We support our artists, and strive to connect them with art lovers. Here is our refund policy page.

 

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Hopefully this won't happen, but we can't control everything. Send us an email at hello@collective131.com with pictures within 7 days of receiving your shipment, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

 

I love your mission, but I’m new to buying art. Any tips?

We believe you should buy art that you love and want to hang on your walls. Collective 131 is all about transparency and making art accessible, which is why you can buy directly through the site. However, please email us if you have any questions or concerns before you buy anything!

 

I’m an artist/designer. Can I sell my work through your site?

We'd love to see your work! Please send us your info, images, and website links to hello@collective131.com. If we think you'd be a good fit, we'll be in touch :) 

 

What does “Collective 131” mean, anyway?

131 is the apartment number where this idea was born. “Collective” came up as alternative to “gallery,” because we transcend the typical gallery model. Everyone behind Collective 131 is united in our mission to support women artists.
